1 yr this april... I was a full time student and couldnt manage to keep up all the payments on my 01 miata when the fuel pump died so it was repoed *tear* so I pleaded and begged and graveled and begged a lil more to buy it from my father, who had her sitting beside the house barely able to run under her own power, and in april she was trailered from Tulsa (him) to Durant (me) as my birthday present ... im lucky i know ... he told me he didnt know what the problem was so it was my problem now (egr valve was shot, needed tune-up, and something else i forget) and he bought a 46 Ford flatbed truck a.k.a. "Ruby" as his new project.

Ive done ALOT of engine WORK... just not alot of engine MODS hehehe start with the basics and get her crawling right before you make her run. Ive had quite a few problems with her but she was a slight wreck when i got her but nothing major aside from the egr valve, some spitting and sputtering due to a cracked plug, and the dreaded ghost codes P0131 & P0171 that come and go as she feels... replaced alot of minor parts but alot is still left undone, nothing i cant live with tho, shes a dependable daily runner and a wonderful project all in one...my expertise just depends on the problems... if i cant help i know the rest of the gang will do their part and provide their knowledge and support so ask away, nothing is to big or small and no idea is to extravagant.

I use the Eagle One chrome polish, rust remover, tarnish remover, etc... anything remover lol its about a 4in diameter solid silver metal can... auto department at walmart and/or most auto parts stores... its basically dry tissues soaked in cleaner stuff that removes most anything off well anything lol rub the tissue on DRY chrome wheels and it will take off most residue, dirt, brake dust, anything and leave a slight whitish film behind which is to be removed by a terry/microfiber towel. mind you do not use the whole thing at once... simply tear out a small chunk and start with it, once it stops working grab another... it works miracles and ive never had a problem with it... just a lil time consuming kinda like waxing but makes alloy and chrome wheels shine like new

Default Looking To Sell?

Just in case you did not receive my previous inquiry, I'm in the market for a car like yours and have the cash burning a hole in my pocket. Let me know if you are interested in selling!
