The North European driver. 2003 SSEi in SWEDEN

Hi, I just want to say hi. I bought my -03 SSEi in UK and drove it back to Sweden. Itīs in stock shape so far.
I just clear the half corner. The European parking light must be white. So, I added a very slick chrome MC turnsignal inside the assembly. More mods later.

I did try to post some photos, but hey, Iīm not a computer guy.... any tips?

Take care out there!!

This is the best way to add pictures to your posts. There are other picture serving hosts available, but Photobucket seems to be the easiest to use.

Welcome to the club 8)

How much is fuel per liter up there and what did you pay for an 03 in UK?
Your car must be very unique over there?

OK, Thankīs for the photo info. Iīll try this later.

Yep, the car is very unique over here. I think this is the only (2000-2005) one in the Scandinavia countries (Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland). If anybody know anything else, please let me know.

I know that there is at least three Bonnevillle SSEi and one Regal GS in UK.
This is a great forum! Perfect for me, since there are nobody over here that seen this before. Spare parts, no problem. GM is very good at this.... I can walk right in to a SAAB dealer and order. But I rather buy from the aftermarket guys.

By the way. there is a vaccum hose that is just plugged with a bolt. I need to know were is should be connected to. Itīs the one located on top of the compressor. The middle one of three vaccum hoses. It is just plugged now. I do need some info about this matter.

The car was originally bought from Ernie Miller in Tulsa, by Shell. Brought to UK by Shell. And later I drove it to Sweden. I did pay $ 14.000 it did have about 40 000 miles on it.
The fist thing I did over here was a GOOD anti-rust treatment. Since our winter is nasty for the cars.

I spy what looks like turn signals on the sides - on the front fenders. Plus the front blinkers are only half cleared. Did you do that stuff?

Looks nice. Has to be a head turner driving it in Sweden. 8) ;)

Gas price in Sweden

Yep,

I know, it cost to be on top. The normal pump gas is $ 8.00/gallon.....

Itīs 95 octane. The lowest grade we have.

:?

Yea, I have to fix the lights in order to pass the Swedish inspection. I will clear the rear later.

Now, not one US or Canadian citizen is allowed to complain about gas prices....ever again.

Welcome to our club, great colour!
