Had a chance to clean the wheels really well tonight.


Since I had them off the car I cleaned the backside as well. Man there was a ton of road goop in there. Looked like some of the stuff they seal the tar with when it cracks, tons of brake dust, and stuff I couldn't recognize.
The Hot Rims cleaner a stiff brush and they were clean in moments.
And yeah..they were off because of what happened behind them.

Thank you for pointing out the beyond obvious...
I couldn't deal with the pads anymore. 40 miles of highway driving and the wheels were filthy.
Took them off to find nearly new pads and pretty groovy rotors...and I don't mean neat rotors. Another reason I did them was I could see the crappy rotors.
Nice, new and no more noise, no more dust, no more have to wash them every day.
