Nice cars you got there.. my dad'* got an intrigue also. His is a 2001 so it'* got the DOHC 3.5L engine which is pumpin i believe around 215 HP ..its very peppy. Isn't the 3800 only like 195HP in the intrigue..somethin weird like that?

Didnt really look into horse power but any idea if Thetorque or gearing is the same as a bonnie :? ,bottle up how ,Like you mean the exaust or tb?Does the intrigue have the same chassis as the grand prix?

I'm sure the gearing is different, as well as the PCM programming, intake design and exhaust flow.
All of these factor into lost HP and TQ counts....
I find the Intrigue is the Olds version of the Chev Malibu, probably have comparable numbers. I would give the edge to the Intrigue tho
