Well, it'* almost been a year since I got Jinx. For those that remember or don't remember,
http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...108&highlight=.
Since the time I brought it to the apartment in Daytona it gave me nothing but headaches. Then again, I was expecting that for the price I paid for it Anyways, in the year that I have had her, Jinx has had or will sool have the following done:
Engine replaced/rebuilt (Thanks in great part to SEBF 2K6)
Transmission replaced (in work)
Rear suspension rebuilt
Front suspension rebuilt (when trans is done)
Brakes (when trans is done)
ELC back online,
Climate control back online (Thanks Don!) ECC control changed to black face
Steering column replaced
Seat skins replaced and reconditioned (Thanks to Pat and Roadrunner!), driver seat now modded with massager
Carpet blasted, new insulation layed down (Thanks Lash!)
Battery cables rebuilt
New battery
New sunroof
S2 L67 coil packs and ICM
New rear tires (fronts will be replaced soon)
Sound system updated
Pillar pods (in work)
New tails...not delamed at all!
I'm sure there is more that I am missing, but these are the main things so far. And now, without further ado, here are pics and vids I took today:
And a vid clip of the exhaust on the Malibu....just 'cuz several members wanted to hear what a 3500 sounds like with a FM80 on it. I am going to go the same route (tips and all) with Jinx in the future.

Would be funny if you had a Vid of when you set off the Alarm on Karen at the track

Lol! That WAS funny...though I'm not sure that Karen thought so at the time.
Jinx is starting to look real good, Brad. Glad that insulation worked for you. It should make things a bit quiter as far as road noise too, I would think. Particularly considering the job you are doing.
Any ETA on the trans.-formation?

Eh, no. Basically I am waiting on the transmission because of this:
http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...ic.php?t=72238 and though one shop quoted me 350 to install it that 350 can go somewhere else, particularly a shift kit and perhaps someones' LSD that he isn't using anymore
If I get this house, and the garage that goes with it, I and a few other willing member can probably knock the swap out in a real hurry. Besides, I want to replace the struts (which I already have), sway bushings and endlinks while the trans is dropped. No shop will do THAT for the 350 I was quoted
And I just did something else that isn't included in the pics. I just carpeted the spare tire cover in prep for the new trunk carpet I am putting in this weekend. Decided to keep the tire cover ABOVE the new carpet so the rug won't shift around, and will be held to the trunk carpet via industrial velcro. Should look good once it'* done.
