I have a ZZP T-stat. It works great, especially in the summer. The car will take a while to warm up in the cold.

When you let your car warm up, maybe 5 minutes longer than normal. It stays very cool on the freeway also. On a 150 mile trip in my car, the temp was just above 160 most of the way. In the summer, it always stays below 180. Because it is drilled, it will always be colder than a typical 180*.

Right now it runs over 200(past the half way mark) all the time once it is warmed up. I've never thought this was good since 212* is boiling, and for my coolant to be constantly boiling doesn't seem right.

Ooo, I didn't see you are from ND. Yeah, you might wanna wait till it warms up a bit if you plan on driving your car a lot. I don't know how long it stays real cold there.

It'* been pretty cold lately. But once it warms up I will be putting it in. Would I have to take it out before next winter and put the factory one back in???
