Yea those Alpine amps push some power. I used a Alpine 1000w rms amp to power my 4 12" Rockfords. did a good job. But u def need a new deck. Is that a Jenson!?! lol.
Check out my install project... Quite the handy work on the box. neat

Oh that deck sux monkey balls... it came with my blazer and i gutted it for its rebuild. the only reason i kept it was cause it has a aux input.
Remember this is my winter/daily driver.
I have a line driver/4 band eq to pick up the slack in the pre-outs.

So far for my blazer build i've picked up a 1500w rms mono and 20 feet of 0/2 wire, a 200w rms 4 channel for the fronts. and mids. 3.5"/ tweeter clarion plate components, and clarion 6x9s for mids in the rear.
But i might pull the 6x9'* out and replace them with a set of 6.5" components.
Last year i ran 1 12" with the apline md-m500 amp (currently in my 1/2 ton) and hit 138 db running at 300w at 4 ohms.
But the best part. at 90% volume 5 ft away from my blazer.... you cant even here a person yell next to you. Get for those long trips with the In-laws
