thanks for all the compliments, it was a great project for me to get to know my car, im having fun.
i got all the padding, carpet and shifter back in, i should have it driveable by tomorrow...i will def let you know how it goes

the smell went away after a week or so...
i noticed an improvment in the bass frequencies, and trunk rattle, but not enough to justify doing this...
i did not notice any difference with road noise...
i am yet to do the doors...which will be soon, along with a couple other secret mods when i have the panels off

yah smell does go away and its easier to do the trunk and floors with the 12" and the doorks and tight spaces with the 6" (i think there is even a 3") the stuff is very cost effective and works. I also did my friend'* truck and he has a L7 in a double ported box and his truck rattled a ton before and now there is not a single rattle. the bonne still rattles a tiny bit but its the exaust cover thing that is rattling the most. it definately dampens well though.
