300k Club
On the way back from the NOPI Nationals this weekend, I finally did it! I am officially over 300,000 miles on the original motor. Now I can pull that thing out, I just had to see it go the distance for my ego.

300k on a 96 L36 seems to be a lot, therefore I am replacing with an updated L67. I am however transplanting the L36 into the car the L67 came out of, I was planning on selling to cover some of my costs, but it would be interesting to see how far it would go. Until this point only routine maintenance has been performed. I have replaced, EGR, Fuel Pump, one coil pack, and of course things like plugs, filters and fluids.

Fixing to Hit 300K soon
My 97 SE is getting there soon too. I have a little over 263,400 miles on the original engine, and transmission. I hope it will last me till next Febuary when I opt for either a new truck or a Buick Lucurne. If I do go with the Lucurne, I'll get the one with the 3800 Series III, even though it only has 197hp. I'm looking for durability in a car, my 96 Caddy had a 4.6 liter Northstar V8 and it had alot of maintainance problems.
