My new(ish) ride....soon to be anyway
I'm getting a smoking great deal on a 98 SSE. She has 136,000 miles, the engine I'm going to put in it will have a little less. No broken lights inside, Charcoal interior with AL7 seats that don't show their age, HUD, Sunroof and aftermarket HU. Here she is...
Outside of a couple scratches on the trunk lid this is the only damage...Pay no attention to the weed in front of the headlight
I'll add puddle lights, light the PONTIAC on the center tail section, 4500k HID Headlights and fix the antenna.
I don't think it'* bad for a 12 year old car. It will be nice to give the Pearl a break in the winter.
Let me know what you think

It sits normal height. The weeds and camera angle make it look lower.
Everything works, with a charged battery. The car hasn't moved in 2 months. The engine doesn't run, there is metal in the oil. A little history, the original engine was lost due to an LIM leak, the second engine was dropped on the oil pan during install and caused the oil leak that eventually caused the failure of #2. I need to throw an engine in it. The owners son gave the car back to him after blowing the engine and the dad is tired of putting engines in it. He just put 4 new tires on it a year ago. I've had my eye on it since I moved into my house and now it shall be mine. I will try to get a pic of the interior tomorrow when there is more light out.
Even with a "new" engine and all I want to do, I'll have less than 1500.00 in it.

Nice! You know, a low mileage L26 may be an even more awesome option since those engines, we assume, are better at handling turbochargers. And you and I know you're going to put a turbo on it, so why delay the inevitable?
Nice find, and please post lots of pics even if you assume that it'* a clear-cut process!

Rad, when I pricing engines, I found I can get an L26 cheaper than an L36. I'll be going that route. No turbo though, this is my winter beater
