My 1995 Aurora with GXP rims....
Hello everyone, I just wanted to post my car over here since I did go with the GXP rims, which I asked about here.
The car is a 1995 Olds Aurora with 131,000 miles. I had it for almost 4 years now (Nov. 11) and I've done a couple of things done to it ;) Hopefully I get everything.... Exterior mods are; 30% tint all the way around, I repainted the bumpers and painted the lower bumper sections body color and the rocker panels (they're both gray factory), as well as removed a body line from the rear bumper (see pic 3). The front cornering lamps are cleared and I put a diffuser in to hide the bulb, the 3rd brake light is led now, I 'smoked' the reverse lamps some tint, I polished the factory SS tips, painted the engine cover body color, and Duplicolor'ed the calipers silver. The interior is mostly stock with the exceptions of painted silver-rimmed guages, custom embroilered floormats, and of course the stereo, radio bezel converted to single din, the emblems added, custom tweeter location, and the bass control knobs in the center console. The stereo specs are: Head Unit - Alpine CDA-9855 Speaker Amp - Infinity Reference 7541a Speakers - Alpine Type-R SPR-17LS, JL Audio VR-400 rear Sub Amp- Kicker KX1200.1 Subs - Kicker 04 CompVR15" (2) Signal Processor/Crossover - Clarion MCD360 Capacitor - Power Acoustic 5.0 Farad Cap. Wiring- All Stinger, Stinger Distribution Block Performance mods are; GXP rims w/BF Goodrich G-Force KDW tires, size 255/45/18, Cadillac STS strut tower brace, STS rear sway bar conversion, custom engine grounding kit, KYB front struts, and custom CAI, cone filter that's boxed and wrapped in Reflectix Planned winter upgrades (as in time off from school, here's not really a real winter here ;) ) are, EiBach STS lowering springs, complete 3" collector-back exhaust and 01+ Aurora steering wheel swap (thicker/feels better). Enjoy! :D https://xs208.xs.to/xs208/06431/asj8.jpg https://xs208.xs.to/xs208/06431/asj9.jpg https://xs208.xs.to/xs208/06432/tipss.jpg https://xs208.xs.to/xs208/06431/asj3.jpg https://xs208.xs.to/xs208/06431/asj12.jpg https://xs103.xs.to/xs103/06282/closetrunkaud1.jpg https://xs103.xs.to/xs103/06282/bezelaud1.jpg https://xs303.xs.to/xs303/06296/centeredfar.jpg |

Jim W will like this ;) BTW i feel the same why the others do about your car...LOVE IT :D |
I love it. Looks absolutely amazing.
I got a question. I'm not familiar with the Auroras but the gauge rims, was there a preexisting "rim" on there or there wasn't any and you made your own "rim". I'm liking that idea... |

Thanks for the comments everyone, it's really been a labor of love, esp. shelling $$ out when the tranny died and keeping the a/c going (compressor and programmer). From the time that I've been on here, I do know most of the Aurora members over at the aurora club.

I LOVE those cars! And the 95-99 Gen Aurora is the best IMO. The GXP rims look great! I like the engine cover too. Nice aesthetic touches.
