I have a question, and not to sound like a noob, but how come you can run a 5spd L67 in other cars like this one, but not in a Bonneville?
From what I understand, there'* really no way to adapt a 5spd to our cars, but you have the motor we do with a 5spd.

and for the 5 speed question i dont know my car came stock with the 5 speed its a getrag 284

It can be done in a Bonneville but it is alot of work.. mostly electronics and some fab work for the clutch.

And, supposedly, it won't hold up to the heavier weight of the bonne'*.
