Thanks everyone. Everyone else had great pics and that is the first time I have had time to go out in the daylight to take pictures. Usually I don't get home until way after dark in the winter time. I hated the mesh in the middle of the bra so I cut it out. I am not going to go braless until the car is painted in about a year or two so please don't tell me how I should lose the bra anymore. My dad was a car painter for 20 years so I think I can handle it getting painted correctly when I get to it. You don't understand what it looks like in the daytime and if you did you would agree with the bra. Personal preference and I like it on anyway. No the pontiac emblem didn't come there but I liked the look on the G6 so I stole the idea. Then all the ricers know that a big grandpa pontiac just toasted them .

No need to get so upset. It was just my experience from having my front end ruined.

you went to the WRONG shop then bud, thats BS for that to happen. i dont care what causes the damage, if its repaired right then it should last.
You would think so. I went to the best shop in Lansing, MI. All kinds of positive reviews of their work. They fixed it the second time after three months. At that point they said that damage had been done to the sheet metal itself, and while they would fix it, they wouldn't do it a third time unless I came in with a new hood. The third time a different shop in a different state stripped the paint and said they exact same thing about the metal being "damaged". I never understood how metal can be damaged to the point where it won't hold paint, but I'm not an expert.

Looks great

I look forward to meeting this summer in Oregon.

Hopefully we will have two white 00 Bonnes this year.

I recognise where you took the pics......reminds me to book my Hotel room.

Not getting upset at you. You aren't the first to tell me that. It is just opinion. That is crap that they told you you couldn't paint the hood. All it means is that they are just to lazy to work it all out and block it down. It is sucky work and isn't easy at all. Most people just don't want to do it. Especially since they aren't getting paid for it!

awesome pictures. Are those factory mirrors? They don't quite look like they are, but the contrast in color might be altering the appearance a bit?

Agreed

Double agreed.

In my opinion, however, it was the bra that started all my problems. If your paint is already messed up then the br probably does make it look better.

I would love to find one of those plastic rock guards for my GXP. As soon as I repaint my SSE (myself this time) I'm going to get the plastic rock guard for it. I saw it mentioned somewhere here. It will be worth the $80. By the way, the wheels are awesome.
