Welp, after 250+ miles and 5 hours of driving in a rather bouncy flatbed, I now am the proud new owner of a 1990 SSE. Thanks to all of you that encouraged me as I pondered which vehicle to buy (this one or a 87 Lesabre T-type). Actually I tried to get both as many had suggested but the [wife] approval didn't go through and the seller had a broken neck and didn't feel like selling a car today. Can't say I blame him much, though. Overall, I'm pretty impressed with the condition of the car. It was claimed that it only needed a fuel filter to run again but this was understated. As of now, it still hasn't started & I believe it'* a fuel pump issue. Both rear doors will not open but due to information gathered on this forum I'm not too worried as this seems to be a common problem. Have a look:
We'll see what happens tomorrow.

The interior looks identical to my 91SSE.... I miss her.
(91 SSE currently burried under tons of snow... see Lounge for details).
randman1... looks good! I love the 87-91 SSE'*
