My first set of wheels
1989 4.3 Blazer.Yes those are hub caps with fake brake rotors
What can I say I was a stupid high school kid and I worked twice a week so I couldnt afford rims. But that was back in 99 when rims werent as big a deal.
Mod wise I didnt get too far. Black paint, got it lowered, K&N Filter, TBI Spacer, Magna Flow Exhuast and 200 pounds of weight reduction.
Suckiest thing happened, I just got out of high school, found a better job. I was going to get some Camaro Rims and V8 swap then one day I decided to park by the curb instead of the driveway then some ricer took it out. He tried going 65 on a 15 mph turn. Total lost for both of our cars.
I like my Bonneville more but the blazer had a much nicer sounding engine and I kind of miss the rwd sometimes.

Aw yeah I wanted to emulate a Typhoon then it got hit.
Hopefully my Bonneville will get Supercharged and I'll be like an SSEI and not get hit.
Hmmm I seem to be wanting to emulate upper class versions of my car. When I can afford a Corvette someday I'll make sure to get a Zo6 so I wont have to emulate anything.

That blazer looks pretty sweet lowered. Thats a shame that some d****** ricer hit it. I had driven one of those late 80'* blazers a few times, I liked it alot but I never was really able to pinpoint what I liked so much about it. 200lbs of weight reduction? Alot of that had to be that big *** arm by the tailgate which held the spare.

I took out the rear seats, the towing hitch, the spare and jack, A/C(Told you I was a dumb high school kid), Radio, Center Console. I really wanted to make it as fast as a typhoon but it died an early death.
I liked it a lot and wish I still had it but the Bonneville is so much nicer. No way am I taking the rear set,A/C and Radio now.
My friends who hated SUV'* liked my truck, I think cause it was so compact and wasent so gigantic compared to the others.

I can understand the rear seat....... One of my friends did this for a month just so he wouldn't have to drive our car"less" friends around. I even pulled my back seat out in my old car for a few days so I could fit my mountain bike in my car without having it in 10 peices for a biking trip. And the A/C that does weight a decent amount... I think...... But pulling the tunes would have put a frown on my face for sure :( I don't know how you were able to drive like that.
