Decided to give her a quick hand wash since the car wash just wasnt cutting it, then sprayed 'er down with some Quick Detail just for kicks.

All things considered I think it looks pretty good, I travel 14 miles of gravel road round-trip at least 5 days a week, plus drive 40 miles round-trip to work, and at least 150 round-trip to school twice a week, not the greatest conditions for keeping a car clean.

yeah it needs that among many other things, It also needs some stuff to shine up the black trim as well, it also needs some sort of rubbing compound to get out the stuff that the wheels kick up that wont come out of the paint even by hand. It also needs an oil change, front and rear pads, as well as rotors probably, and a tank of gas....and I have 25 bucks...hmmmm

Oh! and an o2 sensor couldnt hurt, its probably still the original

What is that dark plastic piece running under both doors?

well....simply put, its a dark plastic piece that runs under both doors...I think the GPs may have something similar? I know its an Intrigue thing for sure, its just some plastic trim, theres metal underneath it, kinda to make it look more "sporty" I guess? Mostly its just hard to keep clean and seems to stain easily

NickHaight 09-17-2006 03:52 PM

yep, thats some cheap ass GM trim all right.

harofreak00 09-17-2006 04:01 PM

nuff said....theyre just kinda no name all season tires my parents paid for...I dont really like them, but you cant complain when you didnt have to pay for them..theyre National Ovation's....just screams high performance doesnt it? But having a soft performance-oriented tire would be a bad idea on the roads I live on.

As for what happens when you take the trim off...I have no clue, Im not sure I really want to try, I might look into it though.
