Hmm, yeah it did that here. Except I cleared the snow off the night before, then it ICED all night to where I couldn't get my door open without pushing into it with my whole body. Kind of like a sideways body slam, but with less dents and bruises.
Then I had to literally HACK the ice off the windows, because using the ice scraper as designed wasn't cutting it, and I only gave myself 5 minutes to get it off before I had to leave for class. Oh yeah, then I got to school, and at 7:50 AM they cancelled classes til 10am. We had our first class anyway because I had a group presentation to make, and everybody that needed to be there was there. Left at 8:45, got ready to come back at 9:30, hopped in the car. Just for the heck of it I called the school hot line, and they had cancelled classes for the whole day at 9:27 AM.
Talk about late notice. Apparently the president of the university got a crap ton of complaints because he sent out an urgent e-mail trying to cover his ***, disguising an apology as a 'I was following weather guidelines, it'* not my fault'.
Did I mention on the way home from the 8am class, my windshield wiper fell off and I had to drive a mile in snow and freezing rain until I got to the gas station to fix the wiper?

Want to trade? It'* still snowing here, a few feet now in the past few weeks, and it just keeps coming. Nearly got whiped out going to get the kids from school. Going on the interstate was up to about 60, roads were soemwhat clear, look over my left shoulder when what do I see, but a semi doing about 70 right off my bumper and not moving over. I went right and hit the deep snow, got on the breaks and blew the horn, he just kept going didn't even try to move over. Good thing I'm a good snow driver, kept car somewhat stright and under control. Sure got my heart pumping.
