what are the width of those rims ?

IIRC they might be a tad narrow or wider than your current rims...might be worth jacking the car up pulling one of the front tires and mounting just the rim..to see how it clears the caliper

before you go through all the mounting of the tires and then realize crap..they dont fit

Nighthwk12 05-10-2010 12:35 AM

stock bonneville rims are 16x7 those rims you just bought are 16x6.5

wakefieldl 05-10-2010 12:40 AM

thats what i thought but i wasnt sure..they should still fit okay (id think)

what size tire are you running on the car currently ?

Not all Bonneville's have 7" width rims. My 87 came with 14x6 steel wheels, but I just recently put on 16x7's from a 94-99 Bonneville. They fit fine in terms of clearance when I turn, although when I had them installed, they had to replace the lug bolts so that the rims would fit.

So if the rims fit on the axle, you're good to go. If not, the bolts shouldn't be that big of a deal to fix, and then you'll be good to go.
