Our new GTP
After an exhaustive search, and excellent haggling skills; I'm the latest owner of this nice 2004 Grand Prix GTP Competition Group. It has 82 000 kms (50K miles) a Ractive aftermarket cone intake (soon to be swapped with a proper Intense FWI). A set of Ford Mustang? mufflers, RCA speakers replacing the stock Monsoon speakers throughout. Here'* the thing, the Ford exhaust sounds FREAKING WICKED and the Ractive is decent as well.
Standard features include 3800 SC'ed L32 with GenV blower putting out 260bhp, Magnasteer2, CompG suspension package, 6 disc Monsoon audio, TapShift, 3.29 gears, sunroof, red painted calipers and more.
The car was listed at $18 995, red tagged to $16 888, sold for $15 736 and brand new Pirelli P4'* installed free of charge. I also nabbed free lifetime lube/oil/filter and 160 000km powertrain warranty.
Downside: no passenger side power seat, terrible rear seat backs and impossible to sit in if you are tall, no Homelink and no ECC/ELC (which with my luck may be a blessing)
Pictures.
Ford Exhaust - Angie at the wheel, parking lot ended before she got to 3rd gear, so there is a bit of exhaust pop
Chorus by Gen5 and L32 - Angie at the wheel again
I've kept the Aurora and its been designated toy car, need a bit of TLC and it can now get it.

Since I have no frame of reference to verify what you have stated, your reply is pretty baseless, but from my standpoint, yes, yes it does have more kick then the one you drove.
