I am Dr Frankenstein!!
I have begun the installation of the parts that I salvaged from my Bonneville. I switched my sig to show this. I am waiting until my first oil change before we go to the track. It'll probably be Sumerduck. It'* the closest, but it'* only an 1/8 mile and from what I've heard it'* got a slight rise on the line. We'll see...I'm at 1903 miles now!

I gotta go with the PCM. I like a quiet, stealth like exhaust myself, don't particularly care for the big wheels with the rubberbands stretched around 'em, and nothing fuzzy attached to my car!

The car has yet to be named. I usually do that after the first track visit. The thermostat in the car is already a 180. They switched them all the way back in '99. A lot of people still change them out to be sure. I just checked mine and I'll be fine for a while. Maybe next summer I'll run a 160 after the new PCM goes in.
The only change I want to do the exhaust is the stupid u-bend thingy. You'd think with so many W-body owners taking that out they finally get rid of it...of course with that off I might just have to drill out the cat.
The new (old) exhaust manifolds fit perfectly
What I really like is the new aluminium drivetrain carrier. Really great looking when it'* clean..shiny even! Very light compared to the old ones; should be good for half a tenth!

Not at the track, but I-95 N works fine for testing! It was me and 4 other GM'* doing 90 from Fredericksburg to Woodbridge (about 40 miles). 2 GTP'*, a Camaro SS, and a Z06.

We did some work on the rockers before we installed the heads. I have had the intake rockers upped to a full 1.9 from the 1.8 and the exhaust has been upped to 1.85. The flow tests showed that it was the max I could go without having a backflow problem. It should be good for a .01-.05 drop in the 1/4.....no way to tell yet. I have'nt really noticed any difference in the acceleration, but the torque spot (stock 3200-4300RPM) has widened out to 2800-4600.
