His tach must be messed up. A series 1 would surly blow if shifted above 6K. Plus, the shift speed is accurate. If he were shifting over 6K the 1st- 2nd shift would be around 50mph, not 40.

Yeah the tach is off a good bit... Fuel cut off in the 92-94 Bonnie TPI 3800 is 5600 rpms.. Would have been bouncing off the cut off limiter..
I love the way it sounds tho
