Must repeat every time you sit in cockpit "Boost is good. Boost is GOOD! BOOST IS GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!" and then you hammer the loud pedal.

Nice!!! Very nice!!
So how are the ghetto golds going to look on the Rora since I know  you are gonna swap the swooshies onto the 'Boosted One'.

Congrats -you've been here too long without boost -now help to convert Seth and Jason (and John too).

Looks good..........

Who does the one beside her belong to?????

sse1990 09-04-2005 05:02 PM

Well I got home not too long ago. I have to say it is hard to say what I enjoyed more,

A) BOOST
B) RAW V-8 POWER
C) Smellbirds awesome ride with the amazing HIDs and other mods

Tough choice, at least I got to play with all 3 this weekend, while mine was towed back home and sits in the driveway right now.

i'm liking this Bonneville quite a bit actually. I've always been a fan of this body style, but as I was telling Seth, I prefer the front end of the 96-99 and the back end of the 92-95. It would be nice to have a mish-mash of both, but I digress.

My girlfriend really doesnt favour the gold rims, I'll be looking for something else in the meanwhile. However it really does go nicely with the gold flake paint. The 00 Bonneville rims will stay on the Aurora, it looks proper, I won't change it. It will be nice to put the Aurora away for the winter and drive the Bonneville.

dbeast, that green car between the Aurora and the Bonneville belongs to a BC member that lives very close to me, he goes by the screename sterdeus, but I know him as Al ;)

As for a comparision between the Aurora and the Bonneville SSEi, well, the Aurora is WAY more "car", in every sense, the body is properly scuplted, its magnificently engineered, handles well, has power that you'd unexpect of its type and the cabin is second to none in the domestic field for a car of its vintage. The Bonneville however, it delivers fun, fun that cannot be experienced in the Aurora.

I'm sure Mike and Seth will have their own things to say about both of my cars, they each had a chance to drive them.

It's funny, I always thought the aurora's interior was way behind the bonneville is look and feel. Never really liked the flat dash. heated memory seats would be nice though I must say. As for the exterior, they both have their advantages, but the one thing I dislike on the Aurora's are the doors have no upper molding. A couple I tried out had vicious wind noise from this.

Both cars look good. Unfortunately, the lines on the new and old do not line up, otherwise it would be simple to just swap them.

You are the first person to say that Geoff, the hardtop windows are awesome, one of the best design features to the car. All it takes is a bit of silicon spray to moisten up the seals and its quiet in there. I suggest you drive my Aurora first, then hop into the Bonneville. Apples to Oranges, despite my love for Bonneville, the Aurora is vastly superior.
