Default My Busy Weekend...

Well, I went home to get the LTZ Ready for selling and get the bonneville ready for driving. Well, I started with the bonneville. I did this the first night and this is how it sat most of the weekend:

Then I went to work on the Lumina. here is the before picture:

And here are the after pictures:

As you can see, I had an issue with the last tire as it would not hold air, so one of the two torque stars I have had to fill in for a while til I get a tire that holds air. the rest are doing rather well.

Then sunday I decided to wrap things up. here are the two results pictures:

Now, Not sure if any of you remember when I put the car away, it was a little bit different. I changed 5 things that you can see in the picture. Can you guys tell me all 5 that changed from when I put the car away in the fall? (Two other things changed, but they are not visible.)

oh yeah, here is the shot of the back yard. i was going to see if anyone at NEBF needed anything large, but I didn't have room for any of it.

And a parting shot to leave you all with :

the last tire as it would not hold air
If the tire is good and its still not holding air, take it to a tire place and have them inspect the edge of the rim. Sometimes the chrome flakes off on the inside of the edges where the tire seals with the rim and cause it to loose air. All you need to do is clean it up a little bit with a biscuit on an air tool and remount. You should be all set.

Wow, the Lumina looks better than I imagined it. The five spokes actually looks good on the Lumina. And the five spokes seems to works well with the 92-95 body styles. Nice, nice, and god damn, that Bonne is FINE!!!!

Hope people feel that way when I bring my baby to NEBF.

two out of three isn't bad. Front plate was actually never there (drove without it except for the last two days it was on the road due to a ticket) and the window things are new. the corners have been on for a while.

Two for two. Didn't think anyone would get the new fender. It'* still not quite the right color (16U in 95 and 16U in 93 faded differently) but it is better than 40U (looked yellow)

So we have the following:

1. Rims
2. Fender
3. Visors
4. Plate
5. ????

The last one might be the hardest, but for those that know the car, I complained about a couple areas on it and I fixed a couple of those while working on it.

The two that aren't visable are i fixed the rust under the passenger side fender and I removed the last bit of carpet padding from the trunk and washed the entire trunk out cause there was still mold on the padding and floor. now i can get in the car and not smell it.

He apparently doesn't know the power of my digital camera nor had he seen the inside of my car yet:P I'll be posting a few more pictures of the LTZ and SSEi and you can see some of the fun I am dealing with. But you gotta remember, it looks great for a $400 with 98,000 miles on it.

OMG I wish you weren't so far away, I'd be taking that Lumina home.

Nice cars.
