Default Did the valve cover gaskets today.

I will be selling my 6000 this Friday and next Monday the Bonny goes on the road. I am very excited to drive it arround. Before I can I had to get the darn VC Gaskets to STOP leaking oil all over my exhaust. Here are some pics for you all...enjoy.

hope they dont leak on you again. I did mine with the help of my dad not to long ago. They arent leaking after a couple thousand miles, so all is good. I got tired to the oil leaking on the exhuast too.

They really werent that bad at all. Take the strut bar & belt off loosen the 2 bolts for the PS pump remove spark plug wires and motor lift mounts and they pop right off. Pretty simple. My mechanic wanted $167 for the job. Gaskets were $10.99 at AutoZone and it took me about 2 hours taking my time. (including cleaning the engine first and cleaning inside the cover a bit, painting the strut bar and putting dielectric grease on every connection I could get to. Not bad all in all.
