well i've made some progress
well since i crashed my car on december 8th i've been fixing it and heres where im at right now.
i have the new hood on. did that all by my self, it helps being 6'2'' and 210lbs lol.
found the style of grille i was looking for and the right color
a bunch of old parts
some more old parts
some new parts that need to be put on when the time comes
I finally got around to cutting and bending the break lines from the master cylnder to the ABs unit. That was one of the bigest things that I was dreading which didnt turn out to be as hard as i thought it would be. with that all I have to do is bleed those lines and I shound be good, key word there should lol. At school I printed off the procedures for that, but i lost them on accident so tomorro while im at school ill have to print those off again.
the only real problem that i am running into is i cant really get the core support very straight and its making it really hard to get the hood to latch properley. Also I bent the hood latch and i dont think that thats helping my problem so next trip to the junk yard im going to pick up one and see if it helps at all.
Im also having the hardest time finding headlights and cornermarkers! iv been to the junkyard like 4 times and everytime i go theyre already gone or they're broken. so if anyone knows where i could pick up a set in michigan, or knows of a junkyard with in a 50mile radious of detroit it would be greatley appreciated.
just for some fun heres what i've been driving since the accident
Its a prety big upgrade lol
its my dads 05' buick lesabre custom its N/A currentley but, if it was my car it would have been supercharged long ago lol
