I finally found it!!!!

My Bonneville search has quite a history, about 7 years long (since I first started dreaming about owning a jet black SSEi, also falling in love with the torque star chrome rims after they were introduced).

Since that time, especially after the 2000 body style change, I learned that I could go "outside the box" of my original search for a 1999 black SSEi. And now, after a whirlwind 2 days of finding my car (listed at autotrader.com) to writing the check... I am the proud owner of an emerald green 1998 Pontiac Bonneville SLE. And yep, it's got torque stars! :D

More information and plenty of pictures will be posted soon! Thanks to all for your tips for online resources in finding our beloved Bonnies!

Jim W, thanks for the picture info. I didn't realize Geocities had implemented a hotlink restriction... I guess I'll stop using them for my eBay activity! Anyway, I signed up for a photobucket.com account so I shouldn't be posting any more pics that look like a red X. :lol:
