CAR OF THE YEAR 2012 Resolve to vote!
This year, make it your New Year'* resolution to vote! That'* right, it'* time to elect a new Car of the Year! Indeed, 4SPEED'* Trans Am had a good run, but with a new year comes a new winner, hand-picked by you, dear member.
You don't have to worry about nominations this time, as we're bringing back all of the Car of the Month winners from 2012 that you know and love. All you need to do is look at these beautiful cars, and vote for your favorite.
silversurfer'* 2002 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi started the year off right with a January COTM victory.
94cutlassvert'* 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP got some late Valentine'* love from the voters to be our February COTM.
It may not be green or sitting next to a pot of gold, but beaSSt1190 and his Chevrolet Impala had enough luck to be chosen as our March COTM.
We had an unprecedented double-tie in April, after voting and overtime, and the two finalists decided to share the title: Nathan'* (94 olds vert) and his Cutlass Supreme
and Sarah'* (Buick96) GMC Sierra:
Josh (jsm121485) and his Bonneville beat the other Canadian cars to win the title of May 2012 Car of the Month, and unofficially, be the greatest GM vehicle in Canada.
The Bonnie-heads came out in droves in June, and elected YMMOT04 and his 2003 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi as our Car of the Month by just one vote!
SGP358'* 1967 Pontiac Grand Prix won COTM in July, putting another COTM winner in his garage.
Shaun_300 kept on trucking, all the way to the August COTM title.
2k2cse'* 2002 Buick Century Custom took the COTM gold in October.
Finally, Dave B.'* 1966 Chevy Nova SS drove in and stole the Car of the Month gold in November.
The photographers took September and December off, so with the two winners in April, there are eleven contestants.
