on my GP, i took a Cone filter that had a cover on it already from Pep boys, then i used the accordian bend and attached the filter to that then covered the cover(that was on the filter) with some dryer ducting to an opening in the side fender wall where it can suck in the cold air. dressed it up with some corrugated piping(covered it all up for looks) and boy does that sucker fly now!!!! absolutely love it, although it was uncoventional from the rest of the ways it has been done!! LOL yall know me, im not conventional at all!!

How'd you get the accordian tube to fit like that?? Just packed and squished it to that shape? Or did you have to cut and glue?

I left the silicone piece on and trimmed it.
Takes it to about 3 3/8" which is almost a perfect fit.

Tried to find a flex reducer but,couldn't find what I really needed. I figured that "Necessity IS the Mother of Invention" and this is what I wound up with.

When I attached the pipe to the accordion tube in the old 99 SSEi I used a piece of truck radiator hose to fill the gap between the CAI pipe and the accordion tube.

What about a 3 inch PVC pipe with the rubber reducer fro plumbing other then beign half *** would that set up work fine ?
