Default Liquid Glass Whorage (56K Warning)

After getting the beast back from the repair shop (Hail Damage), I took the time to clean the girl up this weekend. After reading the posts about Liquid Glass (thanks for the test Willwren!), and deciding I wasn't in the mood to pay for Zaino, I gave it a try.

Steps I took:

1) Wash
2) Claybar
3) Liquid glass Precleaner
4) Wipe Down with a good detailer spray.
5) touch up a couple of small nicks (Mostly on the very low rocker)
6) Replace Black pinstrip, drivers side, behind gascap. (Hail damaged)
7) 3 Coats of Liquid glass, with a four hour delay, and complete wipe down between coats. (Damn...my finger hurt....all by hand)

The results:

To say the least, I'm VERY impressed with this product. As you can tell, it'* kind of cold here, and just overcast. (also shows my cleared corners)

Again...OVERCAST day. Look at that reflection! I did everything...Glass, Lenses, paint all the way down to the undercarriage. (Claybared down there too!)

My take on cleaning up the tailpipes. (Leave them black, except for the rim) Also note the 'Glassed' undercladding. (Now I need to take care of the amber back here too!)

Last one of the not-so-finished wheels. (Still have rim polish on the tires) This is the same paintjob from the 'Freddi'* Caliper guide, done in 2003. A little dirty, but still bonded well!

I'll give a endurance report later...but for right now...Liquid glass

How much does LG cost? I've always been a Zaino man....but it does get pricey.

WOW! I say COTM. Oh, just noticed you were from here. In that case get those rims off! Snow is only a couple hours away.

$15-18 for a can IIRC. It seems steep, but a can lasts FOREVER. You use very little each application. Perhaps half that of a normal wax product. Maybe less.

And it wipes off very easily during buffing.

You can also use it on glass.
