Default Rear deck question, a little progress, and some pics

Once I take out the back of the back seat, something for another project, I think I'll have a better chance of taking out the rear deck. How does that come out?

I'm trying out another cell phone camera. I think these pics worked out pretty well. Let me know what you think about the quality since I'm considering using the camera for my other threads that require pictures.

I had read here about others modifying the rear speaker covers, and now I'm doing my own little painting and adjustment. I promise no ricing (this time), relatively... The sun went down shortly after I sanded the covers, so cell phone pictures are coming tomorrow. Here'* one of the cover taken apart:

This is my little home I made in my trunk so I could crawl in there and run wires, mess with plastic push pins, and so on.

Now, I'm going to have some fun with BBCode. Click on the two pictures below to go to my speakers' manufacturer'* site.

I saw that the "weather stripping" of the speaker risers had fallen off and worn out over time, so I put on some new strips. Once I can take off the rear deck carpeting, I'll look at the metal and make some real harnesses for these. If my XTC foam baffles I ordered for these speakers can fit, I'll be one really happy dude. Here are some pictures of the speaker risers with new stripping.

One last thing - I noticed the cell phone has a delay on taking the picture, so I'm going to try the string and washer trick Moshi suggested in another thread. I rested the phone on a chair to take this picture:

Do you think that one came out a bit better than the others?

Cool! I'm going to take a few pictures of some PC parts tomorrow and see if they'll be clear enough to post here for my other thread. Thanks for confirming that part of it.

The Infinity speakers have the two tweeters tilted one direction, and it seems to be intended for card that have the speaker holders turned 45º as opposed to how the speakers sit in the 92-99 Bonnevilles. Part of my rear deck change will be to turn the speakers 45º and use the risers to make them face in so I can better hear the highs.

I actually ran the speakers in the stock Bonneville orientation, and the highs were unbalanced. Depending on which way they face, I can sometimes hear the left channel WAY over the right. If I have them sitting in an open space facing me together, they sound amazing.
