My sweet@$$ new ride...(no 56k)...
Well, as some of you may know, my Bonne is sold. I'm going to Germany for 6 months in March, and need the money to get there. Sure I'll miss her, but ultimately going to Germany ranks higher on the life experience list than a car. But the good news is my brother bought it from me! So I still get to have the occasional drive! (and he might end up on here sooner or later)
So, without further adieu, here is my new cheap ride. It'* a 1990 Sunbird LE, 2.0L OHC, TBI (yuck), 35+ MPG (yay!), 96 freakin' horsepower! This thing is no rocket...It'* funny, at one point I said I would never drive a car with sub-200 hp, now I'm in one with sub-100! Anyways, it'* a good car though. It'* a 5 speed, with sunroof, very little rust, only 165000 kms, bought it off the original owner! It'* in really good shape and I got a great deal on it. Plus I got a nice Alpine deck installed, and the stock speakers are even bassier than the stockers I had in my Bonne (before I blew them, the stock Sunbird speakers are nowhere near the Alpine Type * I installed later on).
Here are the highlights!
Custom lifted dash!
Rust brown accents!
Shaved badges on one side!
The ugliest hubcaps ever produced!
Super huge tyres!
Insane track performance, I mean this thing is a real barn burner!
Haha here are the pics (mods, since this isn't a Bonne, you can move it to the lounge if you want)...
Note the sweet hubcaps....and it'* a FASTBACK!!!!! haha
LE must stand for Limited Edition, since I'm sure they only made like a million of these...
W00T
Interior is clean
Two of the five best things about the car...5 spd and sweet deck...
More sweet deck...
Another good thing, low kms, 103000 miles...
The last thing people see.......when I stall in the middle of an intersection....j/k haha

Yeah, there'* some rust as usual on the lower doors, it will be bad eventually, but I'll either get junkyard doors (if it happens soon) or just sell it (if it doesn't get much worse in 3 years).
