Clean Engine pics...

washed her in the driveway today so i figured i'd just soap up the engine a little... no detailing or degreasing, just soap and water...

Try not to spray water on your ignition coils and alternator much.

Otherwise, Nice! I love a clean engine.

Looks nice and clean but,ya definately should have covered the coils and the alt

Yep. I'd remove the coils and let them air dry before you drive the car.

well, i don't have to work tomorrow so they should have plenty of time to dry off.

AND now that i know they are so sensitive i'll be sure to cover them up next time. but bealive me, they where DIRTY! i shoulda taken a before pic... my driveway was a mess after cleaning up under there! next time i attack with some plastic bags first, then water!

My Buick has same coil pack setup and I washed engine bay regularly and things got real "greem" inside ....especially on the module under the coil pack. Quess they didnt count on you "watering the area"
