Another mini meet with 1337ssei

I hung out for a few days with 1337ssei. I got home last night from this mini meet in which I kind of worked on my Bonneville, took ~20 pictures, and worked a little bit with the Aerostar. I also went to a junkyard to pick up a couple things, and I'll post more about that later on when I take pictures of further progress on my 94. Link coming shortly. Have fun looking at pictures!

First of all, I see it's getting at least a bit popular to post pictures of dogs. Here's my sister's dog wearing her new sweater.

1337ssei's dad came by in his Grand Am, and there was snow. We threw deicing fluids at my SLE and scraped off ice before I left to go to the junkyard and then to 1337ssei's house.

The Grand Am was pretty nicely deiced.

Here's how thick the ice was:

We cleaned it off fairly nicely.

On the way there, I saw someone pretty generously took out a guard rail.

My single junkyard pic is of a green 94 SSEi pretty much identically optioned as mine is, except that it's wrecked. Here's how they let the engine bay sit!

That's fairly similar to my car. It was all dry just a day before this picture was taken, and now it's completely snowed in.

Missing door panel:

I put a trickle charger on my battery and left. The car couldn't start, and I'm going to replace my starter soon. However, charging the battery for a day helped the car start late last night.

An Oldsmobile Achieva, driven by 1337ssei's cousin, had a flat tire. Have a look:

We played Monopoly, and 1337ssei wiped the floor with us. Here's a picture of him with every single property and all the money. Everything. I think there was one railroad not yet purchased, but that's just too unnecessary at this point.

Better get that trim panel, they'll murder you here for that, trust me. lol

I had to go to the junkyard to pick up a starter motor and a switch (inside the dash). If you look in the Electrical section, you'll see my 2-page post on my car and its raw hate for electricity. :D Plus, there's a video that shows the snow falling through the windshieldless Bonneville as I was ripping away the dashboard trim piece. Good times.

Some drunk at a 2006-07 New Year's Eve party kicked my car but slashed someone else's 4 brand new tires. I put the panel back on, but it classily fell off when I opened the door. I'm working on fixing it.

Yes, Monopoly is addictive. I like it more when I'm winning, though...
