What kind of transformer would be needed? I am sure we can come-up with ideas and make it work..

you notice the black squares that are there with the tubes.

They do the same thing as the florescent light ballasts. Bump the voltage. CCFL'* are basicly neons, which are basicly the same as florescent lights. They all need the ballasts/transformers.

i looked at hte ebay ones firstm but they were all too big, and i didnt want to spend all that $$ and have to bend them
you can't bent CCFL'* its like trying to bend a florescent light or straight neon tube. the tubes they use for the angel eyes is really small glass tubing.

right so they come with them. we just gotta figure out the mounting part right?

Pat was lucky that he had a black strip across the top to hide the connections etc for his rings. Looks great though.
