yes, but his lenses are textured so you cant see the glue, and the LED'* (which would show as hot spots) are behind his black "eyebrow")

By no means and I saying it can't be done and look awsome, but you will have to do a better job and keep everything clean looking.

well if you can figure it out perfectly (looks like you have a good jump on it) there is some money waiting for you.

I have some ideas floating around, but I will not take my own HL appart to try them, I would need a junk yard HL, which I am slowly working towards getting.

i've been trying to get my hands on used lights to play around too.. I was thinking of using ccfl tubes instead of leds. yea they cost more but are brighter and more distributed lighting

they also have some negatives. (that go along with any CCFL) they draw more, they must get a solid 12 volts to their ballast (transformer thing) and they break pretty easy.

You also get a limited set of sizes. But if you can find them and make them work, please do so.

they sell the kits for the e46 bimmer, in sizes: 10cm/11cm, 12cm/13cm, 13cm/14cm (inner/outer diameter)

What kind of transformer would be needed? I am sure we can come-up with ideas and make it work..
