Guess what I woke up to....
Yep, it finally happened.....
and of course...
At least it was a nice, clean removal (except for the window)
Waiting for the glass company to call me back, and shopping for a replacement stereo online....

They could have been nice enough to break the BIG window and NOT that small one. It is usually cheaper and easier to replace a big window than that like side window.
You should have the windows tinted, it helps hold the glass together, hehe.
Hope you find out who did this.

Yeah, it was an aftermarket HU - Sony CDX-F5700. Looks like I'm gonna replace it with a Sony CD/MP3 Player Head Unit (CDXGT200)
And, if they had broke one of the big windows, I'd probably be installing said HU right now. They have to order the fixed glass, so maybe tomorrow. Still waiting to hear from them.
Unfortunately, no chance of finding out who did it. They hit my car, and the neighbor'* Acura and moved on. Police just took a phone report, and then I called the insurance.
Zero deductable on the glass, but I'm stuck replacing the stereo on my own ($500 deductable for a $150 stereo).
On the plus siede, they didn't rape her. everything was removed nice and clean. They did ding the chrome trim just above the window, and got off with my Beltronics Vector, but it could have been much worse I guess

god, those small rear windows seem to be their favorite. I hate knowing that someone else was in my car, stealing my ****. GGGRRR.
Does the factory security system help at all with this type of break in?
