I wish I had the time to do a project car like that. You did a lot of nice work to that beast.

I thought about just painting the valve covers and to some extent i wish i had and saved some money as with everything bolted up you can't see the Pontiac lettering, but i still like them.I pulled the engine/trans and chassis out and fitted the 700R4 that i have, all i needed to do was move cross member back so front bolts lined up where rear bolt holes are and drill two new holes for rear bolts but there is no hole underneath to put nuts on so will have to drill a large hole for them to go through. http://www.bowtieoverdrives.com/cata...php?ITEMID=334

Stripping paint off rear end,it has been filled on drivers side roof pillar so i am wondering if it has had a replacement quarter at some time.As i was stripping it i decided to take window trim off using a wallpaper scraper to get under the trim but as i did it the whole of the glass lifted up,i went around to the other side and it did same, turned out it was only held in with about 2" of the bonding at the bottom of the glass and the trim was held to glass using the bonding, there are no things to hold the clips in place, but it is solid around where the glass sits,i bought some screws for holding the molding clips on.

A few more pics, found a few small holes, nothing major so far but needed to see whats under all that filler on the rear pillars.

This is what my passenger side rear quarter was like,

.I bought a wheelarch patch panel and rear 1/4 lower patch panel and getting them filled and looking decent seems impossible, wish i had bought a full rear 1/4 but too late now.It looks better in pics than it actually is.

First bit of colour.

Painted car myself on my drive, its wasn't that great but its shiny which is better than the dull black it was before.

When i had it apart i cut front springs, seems a bit too much lol.i actually liked it that low but had problems with wheel catching arches when turned,so fitted eibach springs later.
