I'd like to see the Comp and the GXP duke it out. I think the Comp could take it in the quarter. :?

I dunno I think maybe the GXP would take the Comp G but not sure.

its funny that the 3800 SC makes 260hp and the V8 N* only makes 275.......

where did you get these?

Scanned them. The first one was a 4 page ad in MT in June 04. The other was Pontiac's performance mag *anyone who requests brochures gets the latest issue* that came out in late 04. There at least 1 1/2 old. :lol: I actually keep all the old stuff. I was all over the new GXP and GTO. And my love for Pontiac's exploded thus helping me purchase my SLE. :lol:

I keep my old car mags too :) i still have a MT from 03 on my night stand

The Comp G would KILL the GXP. It's a matter of fact. The comp, just like the SC engines on this forum, has way more low-end torque than the Northstar. On a 1/4 mile, BOTH of my Series 1 L67's post quicker times than the GXP, and one of them is bone stock.

In the future, please clearly state your sources WHEN you originally post. We are very closely linked with Pontiac Performance and one of their writers in particular. Common courtesy and legalites must be served.

We also need to carefully watch our use of GM stuff. We have trademark rights within certain bounds. Don't want to risk losing that.
