Default Guess who is a new Bonnie owner?!?!?!?!

You guessed it! Hubby and I checked it out and there was one minor problem but nothing to stop the sale. We drove into the Cres he lived on and it was parked in the middle (As seen in pic one)....oh man, here he is, my Knight in shinnin armour! The seats need a bit of work but Ill figure out how to fix them up somehow, but other than that he is real nice, Hubby is always leary of someone selling something but he was ok with this guy, there was actually a bit of trust there, he says he was impressed that the car was shown without being cleaned up....motor had some dirt...normal dirt on it, the oil was original and so on....He wasnt flagged at all by this car.
Hopefully these pics work if not ill repost them.
(first pic of my first Bonnie)
Man this thing has a freakin air pump in the trunk......big improvement from my last car, I know they are just toys, but its fun for the price

Kim

VERY sharp. Gongrats! Your hubby is a smart shopper. Those are the same things I look for when shopping.

The air pump has two purposes. It'* second purpose is as a utility inflator for your tires, with the outlet and control in the trunk. Did the air hose come with it? If not you can make one easily. The real purpose for it is when you get 500 pounds of passengers or groceries. ELC - electronic level control. It'll beef up the rear struts automatically to keep the car level. Don't freak when you hear it running sometimes.

Everything works?

Oh ya, everything works and yes Hubby is a smart shopper, I wouldnt buy without him...hold on here is hubby hubby wants to type something..........

The gaps on the body panels are all perfect, no signs of an accident, the transmission shift linkage you hear is like silence.....the tranny fluid is pink and smells clean, the oil had average wear and hasnt been changed other than reg maintanence...the motor had no shampooing and had no sign of leaks.....the belt tensioner was making light noise...why are they made of plastic?????? There was a little bit of rust at the bottom of the wheel wells and other than that the car had moderate interior wear and there were too many button to tell if all was working, he did metion the trunk release was a bit sloppy. Do they run low pro tires? I think they were Eagle GT'*.....How much is tinting (Canadian)? Im Andrew btw~!
Kim has mentioned you guys are a cool bunch!

God, that sounds great for a 92. Have you guys discovered the Techinfo link on the top header bar yet? I posted a procedure for changing the SC oil You might want to do that soon. Some dealers even overlook that during servicing. Its a PITA for them to mess with, and they don't often see SC'*. There'* a procedure for checking PCM codes, too, just to make sure there'* nothing wrong with the car.

Default CONGRATULATIONS!!!

You won't be sorry that you bought the car. Being a 92 you will have to do some maintenance but it'll be worth it. You said when you found it you were looking at a new car. What was it I know it"* a little krase but if you don't mind how much did you pay for your car?

Default buttons

What are all those buttons for in between the seats? Anyone familiar with what they are? BTW, I dont get the car until the end of the week, it has to be etested and safetied. So I spend only a short time with the car. Not long enough to get familiar with all buttons. And the end of the week is looking really far away.

TIA

I call those "Comfy Buttons". They adjust your seat in many different ways. Enjoy your new baby! As you can see by the pics on this site, we all enjoy ours!
