Thank guys. So much to do but--I have taillights, rear turn signals, back up lights, turn indicator lights on the dash (leds) dash/gauge lights, and the starter turns the motor over. I'm putting all my toggles switches for all the pumps, fans etc on the little shift porch plate. Working form the back to the front. I'm leaving the original headlights completely out of the fenders and leaving them hollow. I'm adding small HID headlights and turn signal lights down on the front frame horns. Just waiting for them to arrive.
Then I have to mount several relays up front to power the lights, intercooler radiator fan, intercooler pumps, horn, and probably something else I haven't thought of yet, LOL! But I'm getting there.

I had a problem of pre-oiling the engine with being back in the firewall. Not impossible but a pain. Bigger problem was, if I pre-oiled it from the normal distributor location, I would have to do it with the entire intake off so I could get at it. Then install the distributor and all of the intake etc., which would take a long time. Since I had the remote oil filter system I simply rolled the little 4 cylinder block in place. Made an oil adapter from an old Pontiac filter adapter with a -12 fitting and hooked the two together. I'll run the oil pump with the drill on the 4 cylinder and pre oil the 406, then I can have it ready to start in minutes after hooking the oil line back in place. The oil will go through the filter and I'll get an oil pressure reading from the filter housing. If I need to run the pre-oiler longer I can let the oil drain from the 406 as I'm oiling it and just add it back to the 4 cylinder.
I also added daylight running lights that double as turn signals. They are on all the time the ignition is on and when I need the turn signal they blink from white to yellow, back and forth.

Install one of these you can pre oil the engine every time before you start it up and before every oil change.

It would be great for every day use but it does not have enough capacity to truly pre oil a new build. I need to run several quarts through to make sure all the push rods/rockers receive oil. Enough to make sure everything is oiled and ready for start up. Good thought though. I'm going to look into one for later. I have a feeling that this thing will set through long hot summers and the ability to pre-oil after setting for a while may be a good idea.

IT holds 3 quarts of oil with 100 psi of air on the other side it get the oil to everything and you can keep refilling it say your system holds 9 quarts refill it 3 times if that don't do it you can drain the pan and just keep doing it.
OF course you need to still add massive engine oil coolers because you block is filled and the only thing that cools the oil is it splashing on the block water jacket.

I didn't look at the specs. The ones I always looked at before were 1 to 1.5 quarts I think?? 3 quarts would work to pre-oil. I was having problems finding an engine oil cooler with -12 an sized fittings so I haven't incorporated one in line yet. But I did find one now and I have to look at it and my set up to see what I have to do to put it in place. Thanks for reminding me about a cooler. I've gotten away from the system while working on the rest of the car and for got to pursue one. Time to remedy that. LOL.

Thank you for that link. I may need a specific shape to fit my area. Usually the custom pieces can be expensive but to do it right may be worth it.
