 nearly 100g's for a low 14 second car... E55 AMG FTW

driverjohn2005 06-01-2006 03:22 PM

Hey, If i had the money, I'd consider one too

1337ssei 06-01-2006 08:56 PM

way too much money for a car that costs even more money to get parts for. Ontop of that I think a decently modded bonnie would do one of those in.

did you watch that vid...yeah sure a bonne is gonna better that ;) . Anyway theres alot more to a s55 benz than just power and plus I am looking for used ones in the 50 to 60k range not 100 thousand.

I am in no way blasting a supercharged Bonneville as they are very quick considering the old tech v6. I own a GXP and I feel it picks up speed like crap...I wish I had a supercharger in there.

Foreign cars = no no. buy north american.

If you look closely , this car was pretty fast, yes, a well modded Bonne could walk that,
but the AMG still do acceleration in silence, smooth and strong.
For those who have the money, i cant blame choosing a AMG instead of a Bonne...

Not sure about that one ...

1337ssei 06-06-2006 12:57 AM

some of the features that thing has are crazy like the suspension. Altho, if I were going to spend that much on a car it would be a corrvette z06

Well I guess if you guys have the money to afford a Mercedes than go for it. I hope nothing ever goes wrong with it because they are too expensive for me.

I'm with you 100% on that one. 505hp 427 LS7 for me, thank-you. 11.5 1/4 mile time. I only feel sorry for the rear tires.

Xac Xado 06-27-2006 12:07 PM

i'd rather have the WS6 Trans Am with some aftermarket parts - Twin intercooled Turbo, 6 speed, etc. Even with that the cost should be WELL under 40K!

I rather have an OEM car with that performance and 4 doors like the S55.

Xac Xado 06-27-2006 09:23 PM

What about the Audi RS4? Nice car - can't remember if it comes in 4 doors though.

fantastic88 06-27-2006 09:27 PM

Cadillac STS-V FTW!

STS-v 469HP, 430flb, rwd northstar
CTS-v 400HP V8 c5 Eng.

STS-v was built to eat the E55, and the M5 for lunch. Love those Caddy's and Pontiac's!
