As a lot of people on here know I like both the blue oval and blue square. Don't care for most Ford cars but love their SUVs and trucks. Nice find. Not big on those wheels but they look like a set that would grow on ya with time

all you got to do is live with one for a while, and when it leaves you for dead by the side of the road in feb. in the middle of a snow storm, trust me you will never even think about buying a ford

Sorry to spoil it but any vehicle can do this. Bad luck happens. Won't say any further as obviously this is a GM forum and there'* gonna be bias

its all in how you take care of the vehicle, personally unless I know the person well enough I wont buy a vehicle off someones lawn. I just wont because you never know what its been through. Any car I owned will be well maintained and regardless whether its ford buick chevy whatever as long as I take care of that vehicle theres no reason for it to leave me on the side of the road.

I'm the same way, but both of my vehicles came from car dealerships, so I don't really know their histories. I took great care of my Ranger before I wrote it off, and it never let me down, other than blowing the dome gasket, and the transmission blow all its fluid out the vent on the highway. I keep my Buick well maintained, and it hasn't let me down yet..sure, I've had a couple small problems, but thats expected from a 9 year old car with 178 000 kms on it.

i usta not be biased against any vehicle too but my hate for ford goes back 3 vehicles that ive personal owned and the work truck im stuck with now. they all left me stranded more than once with no amount of maintenance being the reason for the failure. its like 2kcse said all the rangers blow their trans fluid out on the highway, but no one seems to care. they all have stupid engineering flaws. my work truck we bought new in 04 and has averaged over one breakdown per year, with two already this year. it doesnt have a volt meter and the alt went, the batt light didnt come on and it just died good thing i was close to an exit and coasted down, if i was going up a hill i would have been in the middle of traffic in a snow storm with no flashers

sounds like a result of people in the shops not doing their jobs right, I can tell ya one thing, those damn japanese are picky as F&$* with these hondas omg.. we will literally be written up if we dont thoroughly check every single piece of these shifters. Where as when I built mirrors for ford, all we had to do was a visual check and continue working. I have never worked for a company that was so picky about their parts.

Heres the cars I build for now
