My Box is Exposed !!
So I start up my FireBird this morning expecting to go on a sunny day cruise.
Instead of a steady idle it rocked like a drunk running richer than Paris Hilton on Ludes.
So much fuel that the intake manifold was knuckle deep in 94 octane as it dripped off the back end.
Oh oh.....it'* only been 16 years since the fuel inlet needle and seat have been replaced.
Time for a clean up and freshening.
While I had things apart I thought you might be interested to peak at my box.
It has twin 4" pink inlets leading to a sealed 4" x 10" K&N filter.
Looks like next weekend I'll be rebuilding a Rochester 4 Barrel Quadrajet Carburator.
Third time for this one.

That should be a piece of cake for you... I've only ever taken one carburetor apart...never owned a vehicle with one
Nice box, I like it.
Should be a nice Sunday Cruiser
