Well first, you have a base SE with the column shift, so it is most likely to have the "granny gear" 2.84 ratio. Sorry to say but you are stuck with it unless you get a 3.06 trans, and a PCM to go along with it, otherwise even with some mods on the car, it will still feel slow, as the gears are highway gears.

you most likely have the 2.84'*
Witch mean, yea, sometimes you can chipr them and sometimes you cant.
its all about the right timing and road and tires.

Heres my car 0-.....

That seems slow even for the 2.84. Mine would kill the heck out of it IMO. Maybe something is wrong. Also, with my 2.84, 50-80 pulls pretty strong through 2nd gear, which that doesnt seem to have. maybe its time for a 0-60 run?

Did it ever shift before 60? Maybe I got distracted, but I didn't hear a shift.

I am going to assume that is a 1992-1994 SE. I do have to say that does seam abit slow.
For starters, when was the last time a full tune-up was done? If you haven't done anything recently, I'd suggest some new NGK TR-55 plugs (.060" gap), plug wires, 180* t-stat, fuel filter, pcv valve, and run a can of Sea Foam or equivalant through with a tank of premium unleaded (not necessary, in fact you may lose performance from it like I did in my 1989 Lesabre which tended to perform best on 89-90 octane -91+ octane proved to be too much).
Also, if your car is a 1992-1994 with over 100,000 miles you may want to have the fuel pressure checked.
Another cheap way to restore lost power is to get a new throttle body gasket and a can of throttle body cleaner. I would be willing to bet your TB after the plate (even before it) is caked up with a black mass.
With all of the above done and given you have a good fuel pressure you should see a good bit of your lost power returned. If none of the above works you might want to have the catalytic convertor tested, but I'd save this for last.

Ok, saw the shift. Your 95 should be quicker than that. Traction control?

AHA! now that you say 95 I remember to look at the red-line (6k on 1995+ SE'* and all Series II'*).
That being settled (unless it'* a Series I car with a 95+ guage cluster) that car should be alot quicker.
You might want to check the intake manifold for warpage where the throttle body seals up to the manifold. Should have the same gasket gap all the way around the TB.
