Thanks Mike, the thing refuses to die.....It starts up in the cold Wisconsin winters instantly, proving the reliability of the trusty 318 CI small block V8

It needs floor pans and some other things to address corrosion. I'd like to take it Woodward Ave. I used to live there in Royal Oak back in the sixties when gas was 28 cents a gallon. There was this guy Addison who had a Sunoco station on 14 Mile and Woodward and we could get the high octane racing fuel. He had a 1967 GTX with a Hemi called the "Silver Bullet" and which Bob Seger named his band from.
Everything works except the cruise, gonna put headers on and do some tricks to squeeze out more power!!!
Don't we all want to do that..
Cheers

I have yet to attend the Dream Cruise.......Heard it'* really a blast, but way too many people...I used to do the circuit from 9 mile all the way to Square Lake Rd. The best races occurred at 13 mile in front of Cunnigham'* right there by the Firestone Tire dealer. In 1968 I had the fastest car on Woodward. 1968 Chevelle SS396/375 L-78, M-22 rock-crusher with 3:90 rear end, it ran 11.80'* at Detroit Dragway....stock!!
