Yes, I know..something is just wrong with it, its really slow. 9.5 to be exact. Way slower than it should be.

BTW, I slowed down because I had a cop coming towards me

Also, heres my LN3 for comparison. Only a second slower. :\

Looks like it'* dying at the top end... Do you have your RPO codes handy? I'd like to see if you have the 3.05, which I believe you do... Have you done a tune up? Even mine, at 74k, needs a tune up now. I don't think a clogged cat would be a problem yet, but just in case, put it on jack stands and shake it a bit. Maybe post in '92-'99 if you haven't done so already

I didn't watch the time in the video but it doesn't look to bad for a L36. Maybe a tune up is in order if you haven't done one since you got the car. One of my friends used to have a 97 SE with a gutted airbox, K&N and that thing ran awesome for a L36, never got a look at his rpo codes though.

You should gut your airbox!

WELL, currently i'm so broke, my friend is renting the car from me for a few days, and umm, i don't know if i'm going to be able to keep it yet because my financial situation is looking shaky all over again after what i went through last week. So no permanent stuff like gutting airbox. and yes, it has had a tune up. but still bogs down really bad once in a while.

Also, about the RPOs, I keep forgetting to look and everytime i do, the trunk is chock full. Yeah, don't ask. But I think I have 3.05s as well. Because I'm pretty sure I have FE2.

You don't need to buy a K&N if you gut the airbox. I gutted mine then about a week later bought the filter. Maybe you can measure the resistances of your coils per tech info. Hope the $ situation improves for you.

I've driven a few L36s faster than that. That DOES seem slow for an L36. It seems like after the tires chirped it just dragged. :? My 3100-powered Cutlass did a 9sec 0-60.

Now that I think about this it could just be a torque management thing dialing the power back for a few seconds due to the wheel spin.

torque management hmm. well then why does it bog out under light acceleration all the time?
