Had to tint the Bonneville GXP
Ok, so my wife was mentioning how our son was getting too hot in the rear of her car in the summer months, so much so, that the a/c wouldn't keep up because of the sun beaming in on him through the side windows. So I took her car and got it tinted today. And since I was there, I might as well do mine too right? I thought it came out very well.

I paid to have it done. Was going to do it myself, even went and bought the high quality tint from the auto parts store, got a nice hard card and a lint free cloth and heat gun. Took it all home, planned out my attack, then realized the tint was too short for the rear window. D'OH! Absolutely, positively, didn't want to two piece the rear glass, didn't want to do the rest of the car only to buy the larger tint from a shop or pay them to do just the rear, so I got a recommendation from the commercial truck shop manager at the GMC dealership where I work. The materials were going to cost me $105 per vehicle to do it myself, I paid $150 per car for two cars. Not too shabby. Oh, and a lifetime guarantee, and if I'm not happy with the workmanship they'll replace it to my satisfaction. All in all, I'm a happy guy, my wife'* happy with me, and our son won't swelter in her car. Now that'* a win, win.
