Install a LC-1 wide band threw your AC sensor wire
So you have a LC-1 wideband O2 sensor and you want to use it in HP tuner and you don't have the pro version. It'* a bit involved but all in all, not to hard to do. First you will need a unused sensor, options are EGR, rear O2, and AC. In this example we will be using the AC sensor. Your options are to cut the wire or patch in to it. Or find a plug and use that. If you can do that you will be able to unplug your AC and plug the LC-1 in. Then plug the AC back in when your done.
First this, let'* locate this plug. It'* on the front of the engine on the right side. Pull back the cover and find the 3 wires inside. The one you want is the red with black stripe.
Now all you need to do is solder a wire and run that wire over to where your LC-1 module is. Then solder that wire to the brown wire coming from the controller. That'* it, your now all hooked up.
To get this information in to your HP tuner, see the next article.
