Default Engine Coolant Temp (ECT) plug test

Locate your ECT sensor. It'* located just under the thermostat. Unplug by moving the heat shield out of the way, lift the tab, and wiggle and pull on the plug. Do not pull on the wires.

Inspect terminals and plug for corrosion or damage. Clean or repair if needed.
