Lets Talk about Torque Wrenching...

1/4 inch lb only , recent
bought a craftsmen recently and it is a crap shoot - plastic handle and lock, not really worth the hassle of finding out how last it will long. china made.
bought a husky from home depot . all metal. taiwan made. pretty good. 90 day calib, 1 year fixer uper.
those cdi snapons look good, but the warranty is 1 yr from manufactured date, meaning you could be off
also, the tekton is nice , metal, fine grip, taiwan made. cheap, clockwise direction .
ya know when china said you couldnt play video games , over there in taiwan you could .. just some thought

Whatever you decide on, make sure it has the numbers etched into the tool. The ones that have the numbers printed on the handle will wear off with time.

Their torque wrenches are decent, since I own 3 of the ones they sell I'd consider getting this as I would not mind having more precision when torquing.
Not sure how well it would work, but it cannot be too bad for the money.
You could actually buy 3 of the 4 torque wrenches they sell, 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2", along with that digital torque adapter, for the same price as one good digital torque wrench.
Then again that thing looks bulky, I doubt you could use it in any tight spaces...

I went to Princess Auto to look at their advertised inch lb torque wrench..
1/4 in. dr Click Type Torque Wrench | Princess Auto
Was not impressed at all..way to cheap did not feel right in turning for selections.
Then I went to a Sears for a Craftsman..nothing in stock at all.
It seems good inch lb wrenches are either real cheap or real expensive.
I wonder how much a Snap On is worth?

"worth is subjective" they used to be good quality and "worth" what you paid maybe 15 yrs ago. the guy used to come to my house once a week, my dad was a machine mech and bought stuff. but after 2000 or so its like harbor freight stuff and their prices still went up not down. most everything you buy now is cheap, might as well get it harbor freight at least they have no problem taking it back if it fails and it reasonably priced

homedepot and sears are all i have bought for "decent tools" in the last 8-10 years. you just have to stay away from their cheap bulk packs, most of the time its Chinese crap, but the husky pro and craftsman pro especially hold up pretty good
